System Water Loss
System water loss is defined as the amount of water pumped minus the water recorded being used. Our water system requires continual monitoring and maintenance to ensure leakage is kept to a minimum. While all water systems have leakage, keeping diligent about leaks will ensure water is not wasted. Since 2014, Lanai Water Company has decreased leakage in the Lanai Water system by just under 400,000 gallons per day, or about 1.4 billion gallons per year. We continue to be vigilant about detecting, sourcing, and fixing water system leakage. Please help us by reporting any water line breaks at 565-3352.
